KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 22 mm, 14.45 g, 1 h), Amphipolis, circa 348/7-343/2. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Young jockey, holding palm frond in his right hand and reins in his left, riding horse to right; below raised foreleg, rose. Le Rider 219 (D102/R185). Lightly toned. Test cut on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
